On average - 2 hours in a day, probably 3x a week. Most visited site: Wikipedia because he does “research” as my 9 year old claims, he is an info junkie. He also visits the Nickelodeon site, coz that’s where he plays games.

My son who’s 3 years old uses the internet about 1 hour, twice a week for chatting purposes with his Dad. They use YM in chatting and my son enjoys playing online pool with his Dad. With surfing the net, on average -he uses it twice a month for 1 hour. He likes visiting educational and interactive sites like the fisher-price online games, playhouse disney, and just recently starfall.com

my nephew who is 3 yrs old uses the internet everyday, about 2 to 3 hours. He usually visits miniclip and cartoon network to play games.

My daughters ( 5 and 3 yrs olds ) play online games at disney.com or they use their educational cds ( ie. jumpstart, dora, reader rabbit ). sometimes they would visit the encarta kids site, and play games there or just browse, especially the part about animals. they use the internet for about 2 - 3 hours ( not in one sitting ha ) and only on weekends.

My 13-year old daughter is only allowed to use the computer/internet on weekends (maximum of 3 hrs), and on weekdays for research purposes only. The sites she usually visits are: Encarta (they have games also), Total Girl Board (a forum where she is now a junior moderator), Friendster and online games (i forgot the site, but it’s like a detective game).

i have a 4 - yr old kiddo..and almost everyday she uses the computer to surf..even at early age.. i already taught her how to browse and use simple commands.. i bought educaional cds which she plays also..among all, her fave is the julia’s rainbow corner..im amazed how she interact and answer the questions…
